Training is key to ensure that caretakers know what is expected of them and contribute to protecting the herd in an outbreak. This training not only benefits the animals in their care but provides job security for caretakers.

CSSC Training Program

Pork producers can be trained by USDA category II accredited veterinarians to collect samples when needed in a disease outbreak and become Certified Swine Sample Collectors (CSSCs).
